Hi and welcome to Hathiphant! I am a licensed speech-language pathologist and native San Diegan. After graduating from the University of California at Berkeley with my undergraduate degree in cognitive science, I moved to Nashville and completed my masters degree in speech-language pathology from Vanderbilt University. I couldn't stay away from San Diego much longer, so I moved back and found my passion working with kids and families!

Over the years of working with hundreds of families, my number one takeaway has been that trust is the foundation of therapy. All of my therapy sessions are based on relationship building, play, and collaboration with caregivers. I believe that the most effective therapy occurs when activities are functional (applicable to daily life) and motivating for everyone involved. My journey in growing as a speech therapist includes celebrating neurodiversity and respecting children's autonomy and interests. I promise to be a supportive collaborator in your child's journey towards communication and independence. 

When I'm not working, you can find me reading in my hammock, traveling the world with my husband Tim, or spending time in the San Diego sunshine.
